Cost Change
As membership decreased, so did
the number of active keys which
has caused an increase in the cost
for members. However, while
the Supra rate has increased, your
invoice includes a two month
credit of $19.72.
Changes Made to RAGFL
SUPRA Contract
RAGFL would like to call to your
attention the recent case of Busby
v JRHBW Realty, Inc. in which
the United States District Court
for the Northern District of
Alabama ruled that a transaction
fee charged by a broker violated
RESPA. In case you are unaware
of the details, we have provided the
White Paper from Laurie Janik,
NAR's General Counsel, as well as
a related NAR article.

While we feel brokers and As-
sociation members should be fully
aware of this decision, RAGFL
cannot take an official position on
this issue. As this is a topic which
possibly may affect many of you,
we recommend that you address
the matter with your legal counsel.

Effective since April 28th, an ad-
ditional field is now required for
Short Sale=Y. The new field labeled
Lender Approval has two options
AP=Approved (already obtained
from lender) or UN=Unapproved
Short Sales = Yes... Then
Approved or Not
(meaning lender approval required).
A more detailed explanation of Ap-
proved means "List Price is Approved
by Lenders". Any price change on
Short Sale listings, will again prompt
to re-answer these questions.
