PRESIDENT'S COLUMN
W
ow, what
can I say,
this year is
certainly off to a great
start. First we had our
2010 Celebration and
Kick Off which took
place on January 8th at
the Marriott Harbor
Beach Resort. With
over 230 guests in attendance, it
was an amazing inspiration for me
to begin my term as 2010 RAGFL
President. I would like to thank
everyone who attended the event,
which celebrated not only the in-
duction of the 2010 RAGFL Lead-
ership Team, but also gave tribute to
RAGFL's Past Presidents.
I am also happy to report that we
just wrapped up our recent Hous-
ing Summit. With over 450 RAGFL
members present, this
was our most successful
Housing Symposium/
Summit to date. With
key speakers like Ar-
mando Fana from HUD
and Jed Smith from
FAR, there was not
a person in the audi-
ence who left without a
wealth of new and valuable informa-
tion. (For more details, see Page 12.)
As President, I believe it is our
responsibility as your Association to
continue to give you the opportu-
nity to stay informed and educate
your clients so they can make sound
business decisions. RAGFL's timely
events and seminars are the some
of the best tools in the trade. Keep
abreast of all courses and events at

Exciting news for RAGFL members. The RAGFL Charitable Foun-
dation is once again offering members and their families the opportunity
to receive family care. An optical program will be offered to members
and their families with assistance up to $100 per RAGFL family
member. Application forms are being prepared and final details com-
pleted to begin the new program. The dental program, Project Smile,
was a success and Charitable Foundation is expecting members to be
equally open to this program. As with Project Smile, this program is
for all RAGFL members and families and not specifically for members
financially unable to receive optical care.
We are proud to announce the 2010 Charitable Foundation officers.
Committed to continuing outstanding service to the community are
President Margaret (Marnie) Allen of Century 21 Hansen Realty, Inc.;
Vice President John Castelli of Castelli Real Estate Services; and Sec-
retary/Treasurer Cynthia Benchick of Charles Rutenberg Realty LLC.
